MichNews.com-- On Sept. 18 of this year, I attended a joint lecture at the Armand Hammer Museum in Los Angeles (a Jewish-funded institution that is owned and managed by UCLA) by Professors Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer (W & M). The duo summarized their much-heralded indictment of Israel and her American, especially Jewish American supporters. They have also presented this indictment in a recent book, earlier published articles and numerous other speaking engagements across the country. They refer to pro-Israel Americans as “The Lobby”—as if there were only one “lobby” in the United States.

Today it is widely believed that there were no WMD in Iraq before the war. People of both political parties, the major media, and the intellectual community all appear in strong agreement on that point. Some even charge that the Bush Administration deliberately, and knowingly, misled the nation with false information as a pretext to justify going to war.

IN MEMORIAM: TASHBIH SAYYED, AMERICAN MUSLIM HERO
MichNews.com-- Dr. Tashbih Sayyed, an American Muslim hero, is no longer with us. Tashbih (67) was laid to rest in peace at the Harbor Lawn Mount Olive Memorial Park, Costa Mesa, California. American flags were on almost every grave. They also were hoisted high above the roadways. The wind was lightly blowing in a wonderful sparkling blue sky, typical of Southern California, as if to greet Tashbih in his last path; in fact, the hoisted American flags poignantly symbolized Dr. Tashbih Sayyed's core beliefs and spirit.

MY NOT-SO-PEACEFUL ENCOUNTER WITH THE "PEACE CAMP"
MichNews.com-- On Oct. 21, 2003, in a corridor on the campus of UCLA, Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller, the director of UCLA’s Hillel chapter, suddenly assaulted me when I merely asked him a reasonable question. He kicked and scratched me while trying to throw me down a flight of nearby stairs. Fortunately, I was saved from possible concussion by several bystanders who pulled him off me in time. When these Samaritans were finally successful in prying the rabbi off me, he attacked me again. MichNews.com-- Almost everyone involved in diplomacy aimed at a peaceful resolution of the Arab-Israel conflict thinks that the solution is a "two-state solution" -a state of Israel and a state of Palestine, living in mutual harmony, side by side, without terror or conflict between them. President Bush, Prime Minister Olmert of Israel, the leaders of the European Community, Russia, and the United Nations-all are advocates of the "two state solution." In effect, it is a call for a "three state solution" - Jordan, Israel and a terror state in between threatening the elimination of both.
